RV Furnace Shuts Down Mid-Cycle
The furnace starts and heats, but shuts off before the RV reaches the set temperature, often cycling on and off rapidly.
High Limit Switch
This safety device shuts off the burner if the furnace gets too hot. This usually happens if airflow is restricted—crushed ducts, blocked return air vents, or rugs covering floor registers.
Thermostat Placement
If a heat duct is blowing directly on the thermostat, it will think the room is warm and shut off the furnace prematurely. Adjusting the vent louvers can fix this.
