Sewer Smell Inside RV
How to track down sewer odors inside an RV and whether they're related to tanks, vents, or traps.
Dry P-Traps
Water in the sink trap blocks odors. If it evaporates (during storage) or sloshes out (while driving), smells come up. Run water in all drains.
Air Admittance Valve
The vent valve under the bathroom sink often fails, allowing tank gas into the vanity cabinet. It's a cheap and easy replacement.
