RV Slide-Out Making Grinding Noise

Stripped Gears
A loud ratcheting noise usually means a gear has lost teeth. Stop immediately to prevent further damage.
Maintenance
Dry lube on the gear packs (for some systems) can reduce noise. Never use grease, which attracts dirt.
