RV Toilet Won't Hold Water in the Bowl
The water in your toilet bowl acts as a vapor seal against black tank odors. If the bowl drains dry in an hour, those smells can enter your RV.
Blade Seal Maintenance
The rubber seal that the flush blade slides against can dry out or get crusted with minerals/debris. Using a toilet seal conditioner or simply cleaning the seal with a soft brush and mild cleaner often solves this.
Groove or Damage
If the seal is torn or the plastic blade is scratched deeply, water will seep past. A seal replacement kit is an inexpensive repair that restores the water barrier.
