What we look for in a ServiceNomad provider

  • Active business entity (sole prop, LLC, etc.) in your home state
  • General liability insurance appropriate for RV/mobile work
  • Solid experience with common RV systems (electrical, plumbing, AC, furnace, slide-outs, roofs, tank systems)
  • Clean, professional communication with customers
  • Ability to quote fairly and transparently
  • Willingness to follow basic ServiceNomad standards for response times, pricing transparency, and documentation

Note: RVIA/RVTI training, dealer experience, or manufacturer-specific certifications are a big plus — but not strictly required if your work and reviews speak for themselves.

Is this a job or independent contractor work?

This is not an employment offer. You operate your own business and simply plug into the ServiceNomad marketplace. You keep control of your brand, your pricing, and how you work.

Do I have to use ServiceNomadOS to join?

No. ServiceNomadOS is our software platform that can run your business from call to cash — but it's optional. You can start with just the marketplace and upgrade later if it makes sense.

Can I keep my existing customers?

Absolutely. ServiceNomad is here to help you grow, not replace what you've built. You're free to work with existing customers however you normally do.

What if there are already techs in my city?

Some overlap is healthy. We look at demand, coverage, and the types of jobs you want. If your area is at capacity, we'll tell you upfront and can keep you on a priority list.

How soon can I start getting leads?

It depends on your market. In active areas, it can be quick once you're verified. In new markets, we may need to build up owner demand before things really flow — we'll be honest about where you stand.
